Mori Ong (翁馨)

Mori is Counsel at Contigo Law LLC and is a Council Member of the Law Society of Singapore. She holds a Juris Doctor graduate degree from Singapore Management University. Her journey into law was preceded by a wealth of diverse experiences in both the civil service and the private sector.

In Mori's view, the essence of practicing law lies in comprehending the intricacies of business. She firmly believes that a profound understanding of her clients' businesses and requirements is pivotal to delivering outstanding legal and professional services. Specialising in Corporate practice, Mori finds fulfilment in a broad spectrum of corporate work. Her expertise extends to funds, initial public offerings, and banking matters. Noteworthy accomplishments include acting for a USD 14 million private placement bond transaction, managing a SGD 15 million project financing matter, and handling estate and trust planning matters of SGD 30 million. Mori has also played key roles in assisting clients with fund matters and license applications with the Monetary Authority of Singapore, and has assisted in transactions of up to SGD 400 million.

Mori's passion extends beyond the corporate realm, manifesting in her commitment to serving the community at Jalan Kayu. Additionally, she dedicates her time to the legal fraternity by volunteering for the Community Legal Clinics Committee (2023).
